🎥 Cricut DTF — Everything You Need to Know Before You Order
Direct to Film (DTF) is now available in Cricut Design Space, making it easier than ever to create professional-quality transfers for fabric projects.
First, a quick clarification:
DTF is used for fabric blanks (t-shirts, totes, hoodies, etc.).
UV DTF is a completely different product designed for hard surfaces like mugs and tumblers.
🧵 What DTF Can Do
DTF transfers work on:
Cotton
Polyester
Blends
Light and dark fabrics
And yes… DTF prints white
These transfers are extremely durable, rated for up to 75 washes, and arrive ready to press — no weeding required.
💻 Where You Can Order
DTF ordering is available in Cricut Design Space on desktop only.
This feature is not available in the iOS or Android apps.
🚚 Shipping & Availability
Orders currently ship within the U.S.
Canada coming soon
Typical turnaround time: 2–5 days from order to delivery
🖼️ Images & Licensing
You can use Design Space images and your own uploaded images
You cannot use licensed images (such as Disney) at this time
Cricut is actively working on adding licensed image support
You’ll receive a popup warning if your project includes restricted artwork
🔥 Press Settings
All temperature and time settings are provided in the Cricut Interactive Heat Guide so you’ll always know exactly how to apply your transfer.
🛒 How to Order Your DTF Transfers
Click the DTF Transfer icon at the top of the Design Space Home page
Choose your template and size
Add the images you want printed (never mirror your images)
Click Add to Cart in the upper left of your canvas when you are ready.
Your browser will open the Cricut Shop with your project in the cart
Adjust quantities if needed and check out like any regular Cricut order. BTW you can add other products from the Cricut shop to your order along with your DTF project.
