Class 68 Miscellany

Описание к видео Class 68 Miscellany

The Direct rail services class 68s are now the dominant motive power on the Cumbrian Coast and Furness lines railroutes. Proving their mixed traffic credentials on a variety of Nuclear, S.C.O, Passenger and Railtour workings with the odd Barrow ABP to Drigg stone working and light engine moves. This only leaves the other Cumbrian Coast loco hauled set with a class 37/4 in charge and the occasional appearance of the new Class 88 hybrids

In April 2018 we see members of the class at Askam, Lindal, Sowerby Lodge, Thwaites Flats, Pennington, Dunnerholme, Oak Lee Road, Park South, Ravenglass, on a trip inland we see a 68 on the Settle and Carlisle at Armathwaite on a Carlisle-Crewe Basford Hall trip and culminating with top and tailed 68s on a NENTA railtour at Kirkby in Furness.
