"Pro Lov Ad" (Insane Demon) by Wyntaee | Geometry Dash 2.2

About 1.5 years ago, I uploaded "SAVE ME" by Wyntaee, which I really liked for its unique visuals and gameplay. I did acknowledge that it was a bit weird and perhaps not everyone's cup of tea, but I really like when creators do something different while still being high quality. Since then, Wyntaee has released several levels which I've seen a bit of, but "Pro Lov Ad" is definitely their magnum opus. It's over 5 minutes long, and the duration is full of so many parts with unique ideas that are executed really well. The highlight for me is probably all the different effects within each part and for the transitions, which make for great synchronization to the song. There's also various art found as decorations, as well as the structures which are custom and basically art themselves. As a result, the whole level feels like an art piece beyond a simple Geometry Dash level.

In difficulty, this will probably be an Insane Demon. Some parts are admittedly a bit awkward to play at first, especially when the speed is a bit faster, which feels like a tradeoff due to the effects and transitions that synchronize to the song. Some of the middle parts feel better in that sense, but for a 5-minute level, that can make it hard for someone to try to beat it. Still, I really appreciate the unconventional and artistic approach Wyntaee took for this level, even if it resulted in some frustrating gameplay. All in all, I think this deserves an Epic rating.
