Integrating a neonatal healthcare package in Malawi

Описание к видео Integrating a neonatal healthcare package in Malawi

This video describes research on reducing neonatal mortality in Malawi by implementing innovative, low-cost and locally appropriate interventions in district hospitals. Recommendations from this research are helping to train Malawi’s healthcare providers in life-saving techniques, including a low-cost machine that helps babies breathe and skin-to-skin care for preterm babies, a practice now used in most of the project’s district hospitals.
