(22 Aug 2016) A funeral service was held on Monday for two teenage victims of the weekend suicide attack on a wedding party in in the southeastern Turkish city of Gaziantep.
Fourteen-year-old Kumri Ilter and 13-year-old Ahmet Toraman were laid to rest following prayers at a local mosque.
The death toll from Saturday's attack increased to 54 on Monday, after three more victims died in hospital, the state-run Anadolu Agency reported.
An official said at least 22 victims of attack in the southeastern city of Gaziantep, near the border with Syria, were children under the age of 14.
Nearly 70 others were wounded.
Tensions flared at the cemetery where the two teenagers were being buried when a delegation from the Gaziantep municipality started to wave Turkish flags, according to two people at the event.
The group was asked to leave from the premises, although it was not immediately clear what caused the disturbance.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Saturday's attack but officials including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have said it appears to be the work of the Islamic State group (IS).
