Inimitable electro duo Dopplereffekt are one of the most mysterious, thrilling and consistently challenging entities in electronic music. Originated by Gerald Donald, one-half of Drexciya and responsible for era-defining releases under various enigmatic aliases, the current iteration of the group includes Donald and fellow explorer To-Nhan. Balance Club / Culture Festival is an annual interdisciplinary event based in Leipzig (Germany) featuring club nights, concerts, art and discourse. Balance sees itself as an interface between contemporary club culture and political practice.

Presenting Moesha13, Lyzza, Animistic Beliefs, Tadleeh, Sarah Farina, Afrodeutsche and Kablam, the SHAPE Showcase during BALANCE Club / Culture Festival 2020 is a cooperative initiative by depart.one and the SHAPE platform. The artist talk of LYZZA and Sarah Farina as well as the input by Bianca Ludewig are a collaboration with SHAPE educational. The SHAPE platform is co-financed by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
