Are Infrared Converted Cameras Worth It?

I bought an infrared converted camera. A Fuji XE-1 with a 720nm IR filter in place over the sensor. I wanted to head out and have a play with some infrared photography, I'll admit the conditions for this weren't ideal, but for a bit of fun it kind of worked. Not my best images I will admit.
