25 September 2024, New York — Arzu Rana Deuba, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal, addressed the second G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting, organized by Brazil on the margins of the high-level segment of the UN General Assembly.
Foreign Minister Rana Deuba also spoke on behalf of the group of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) underscoring the need for G20 countries to step up support for LDCs, and calling for increased representation of LDCs in important global institutions and governance structures.
Nepal assumed the Chairmanship of the Global Coordination Bureau of the Least Developed Countries (LDC) for three years, starting in April 2023.
