Fire-Lite / Silent Knight PS-6 & PS-10 Trigger Input Issue - Won't Pass Alarm Through with Trouble

Описание к видео Fire-Lite / Silent Knight PS-6 & PS-10 Trigger Input Issue - Won't Pass Alarm Through with Trouble

Like the new panel. However, the trigger inputs don't work right. Normally, most NAC panels can be triggered by a fire alarm panel output feeding in and out on the NAC panel inputs through to several NAC panels. At the last NAC panel, the last output gets the fire alarm panel's circuit EOL resistor.

On all OTHER NAC panels I know of, if there is a trouble on any panel, it cuts the output so the fire alarm panel sees a trouble. Then, if the fire alarm panel goes into alarm and reverses the trigger voltage to activate the NAC panels, the NAC input restores the pass-through to trigger downstream panels.

This panel does feed through as long as everything stays normal. However, once there is a trouble on one panels, it cuts the output to downstream panels. On an alarm from the main fire alarm panel, this NAC panel does NOT, I repeat NOT restore the pass through to downstream NAC panels.

The only way to do this as it sits now is to do it with control modules. Therefore, figure $80-100 each on top of the price of this panel to buy control modules to have multiple NAC panels feeding downstream of each other. This issue affects Fire-Lite and Silent Knight NAC panels (and presumably Notifier also).
