We Help Robby Layton Swap an LS Engine Into His 1957 Chevy Bel Air Project

Описание к видео We Help Robby Layton Swap an LS Engine Into His 1957 Chevy Bel Air Project

Robby Layton’s latest project is a 1957 Chevy Bel Air coupe that’s just been dragged out of a barn. And though it’s a bit too rough to make a nut-and-bolt restoration practical, it’s a perfect candidate for the restomod treatment—and that’s where we come in. Robby and crew pushed the classic Chevy, flat tires and all, through our studio doors. Now, we’re going to help him turn the Bel Air into a solid driver, so it’s ready to make the cross-county trip back home. Starting with a Chevrolet Performance LS3 long block, we get the engine built and bolted up to a TCI Streetfighter TH400 transmission. Then we drop the whole thing onto the 1957 Chevy’s frame rails. Watch it all transpire here.
