Moist Banana Loaf Bread by Mai Goodness | For Home Baking Business w/ Costing

Freshly baked banana Loaf Bread for breakfast or merienda partnered with coffee or tea. Banana Loaf Bread

Wet Ingredients:
• 3/4 cup brown sugar - P7.50
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil or canola or corn oil - P11.00
• 2 Large Egg - P15.00
• 1 tbsp banana extract - P2.00
• 3 big (300g) over ripe lacatan bananas - P20.00 (it can be cheaper if it's over ripe)

Dry Ingredients:
• 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour - P10.00
• 1/2 tsp iodized salt - P1.00
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder - P2.00
• 1/2 tsp baking soda - P1.00
• 1 tsp cinnamon powder - P3.00

Toppings 1:
• Chocolate chips - P10.00
• Almonds or walnuts or cashew or any nuts - P10.00


Toppings 2:
• Glazed fruit - P10.00
• Cherries - P10.00

*Preheat oven for 15 minutes at 180⁰C.
*Bake for approximately 40 to 50 minutes or until the stick test comes out clean and then halfway through the baking at 20 minutes, turn the baking pan around for even cooking. If your oven has a fan to circulate the heat, then no need to turn the pan around.
*Double the measurements if you want to make more.

Note:
The ingredients are listed according to the sequence on how you are going to mix it.

Baking Pan you need:
2 loaf pans 7in x 3.5in or 8x3 inches

Costing:
Cost of Ingredients - P90.50
Overhead Cost (40% of ingredients costs for lpg, elec, water, fare etc) - P36.20
Total Costing: P126.70 (exclusive of packaging)
Yields - 2 loaves (7x3 inches or 8x3 inches loaf)
Net Cost of each loaf - P63.35 (exclusive of packaging) x 1.7 (tubo) = P107.70

Selling price per loaf - P100.00 or P120.00 with packaging
