Messianic Theologian Reacts to Moses in Movies

The cinematic version of Moses ranges from the the epic Charlton Heston, in The Ten Commandments, to an animated Val Kilmer in Prince of Egypt, and a modern version with Christian Bale in Gods and Kings, but the question remains: Is it ok for films to take liberty when telling Biblical stories? The Bible doesn’t have all of the details recorded, but Sam and Tom help us remember what is described in the Passover story, and why it still matters.
