Step 1. Let’s say you’re busy doing something on your iPhone like creating a new music playlist or you’ve put your iPhone aside and it entered the Lock-Screen mode. Then someone sends you an SMS. You’ll see this SMS text on top of your screen and you’ll be able to send a quick answer to it using the little text field below it. You’ll be able to do it without leaving the menu of the app you’ve been using.

Step 2. Same happens if your iPhone is locked. A new Facebook notification appears and you can respond to it with a “Like” without even unlocking your iPhone.

Step 3. If you decide to turn off your Interactive Notifications, you’ll have to do it separately for each app. Go to “Settings”, then “Notifications” and choose the app you want to disable from notifying you about itself. For instance, we go to “Messages” app and turn off “Show on Lock Screen” feature if we don’t want any notifications on Lock Screen and we turn off “Allow notifications” if we don’t want any notifications from that app at all.

Result: Interactive Notifications may seem like a small update, but it makes your iPhone user experience much more friendly and saves your time.
