The situation at BWI has improved each hour at BWI, but it remains a fluid situation. People still have to be patient and willing to pivot if plans include flying on Friday. The most heavily impacted airlines appear to be Delta Airlines and Spirit Airlines, with some fliers getting to the airport as early as 4 a.m. At one point, the line was 1,000 ft. long. BWI staff were seen giving out water bottles and coffee to people waiting in lines.
