Life like prosthetic eye| Artificial eye movements | Dr Jibran

This patient lost the sight of her Right eye due to chemical injury. The damaged eye became more and more disfigured due to repeated surgeries as nothing seemed to have worked right. This made her very self conscious about her appearance. At De Cure, she was introduced to the concept of customised ocular prosthetis. With all the professional councelling she plucked up the courage to go ahead with eviseration of her eye. Later the disfigured eye was finally eviserated and once the socket healed from the operation, we fitted her with new custom-made prosthesis. The Patient her family are delighted with the result so far. She says that she feels much more comfortable around people now that her artificial eye makes her look more normal just like everyone around her which gives confidence to face the world with a smile.
