DQ200 Transmission oil change - The VW dry clutch Transmission needs oil

Описание к видео DQ200 Transmission oil change - The VW dry clutch Transmission needs oil

Today we have something special for you: Michael Grimm, our product manager, and Michael Nowak, our technical trainer, will show you how to change the transmission oil on a DQ200. This transmission with a dry double clutch is used in vehicles with a smaller engine capacity to enable efficient and fuel-saving driving.

Before a mechanic is authorised to work on such a vehicle, he must have a special high-voltage qualification in accordance with the DGUV. Safety first!

But be careful: there are solutions on the open market, but as soon as it comes to repairs, we should keep our hands off them to avoid danger to life and limb.

⚙️ Why do we change the oil anyway? Quite simply, this gearbox also wears out its oil and loses additives. That's why the manufacturer recommends changing it after around 100,000 kilometres.

🔧 Now to the actual process:

1️⃣ Drain the oil: Collect the oil well, as exactly 1.7 litres must be filled in. The oil drain plug can be reused, the tightening torque is 30 Newton metres.

2️⃣ Fill oil from the top: The DQ200 is filled via the baffle. As this is covered by the high-voltage system, we use an adapter behind the baffle on the bleed screw.

3️⃣ After filling, the cap is placed on the bleed screw and the work is complete. Final finishing touches: start the engine, shift through the gears once so that the solenoid valves are activated.

And voilà, the gearbox oil change is complete! Don't forget to subscribe to our newsletter so that you don't miss any more tips and tricks! Any more questions? Write them in the comments!
