🦊 In this GCSE Physics video, we explain that alpha radiation is not very dangerous outside the body due to its low penetration power, but inside the body, it is highly dangerous because of its strong ionization ability and concentrated damage. In contrast, beta and gamma radiation are more dangerous outside the body, as they can penetrate tissues, but are less harmful inside since they pass through the body without causing much ionization. The risk from radiation depends on its type, where it is located, and its ionizing ability.
