Pakistan's Education System: A Brief Overview

Pakistan's education system is a complex blend of public and private institutions, influenced by both historical and modern factors. It's a system that faces various challenges but has also made significant strides in recent years.  



Curriculum: The curriculum is primarily set by the federal government, but provinces also have some autonomy in implementing it.

Public and Private Institutions: There's a mix of public and private schools, with the latter often offering more options and sometimes a higher quality of education, especially in urban areas.

Challenges: The system faces challenges such as low literacy rates, especially in rural areas and among girls, inadequate infrastructure, and a lack of qualified teachers.
