草东没有派对 feat 张悬 -- 离歌 guitar cover

I have been learning bass for the past two years. Now, it is time for me to spend some effort on guitar.

This is a song from No Party For Cao Dong, a Taiwanese rock band, collaborating with 张悬. The song was performed live but was never officially released.

I was completely shocked by the sad news last month, when the drummer of the band 蔡亦凡 took her own life. I cannot find any word to describe that feeling -- it is impossible to imagine what she had been through, and what drove her to that decision, to hang herself inside a cold room in a quarantine hotel.

So instead I decided to cover this song, as a tribute. 离歌, as the title implies, is a song of farewell, a song for the departed. I can only hope she may find peace in the afterworld. This world, maybe is simply not worth it.
