this might be the most insane thing I've ever done

not only is it completely sprited and animated in my pixel art style, it's not even my monster being put wherever I feel like

plus, it's not on an island I can easily animate at a BPM for, having to be animated at 120 BPM and slowed down to 90 BPM in kdenLive (thanks to VibingLeaf's twitter account for introducing me to the software), AND the wings are a separate gif layer from the body, set to 50% opacity in editing.

Also the ring thing is entirely done through video editing and isn't part of the animations itself. The ring is internally called spiritee_addon, a reference to the Spherical Add-Ons from OFF, which the track samples "Silencio" from the soundtrack of OFF's freeware version for the whispers in.
