This news piece is about Sarah's 'White Balance' photography exhibit. The exhibit is about mixed race Asians black and white portraits. She talks about being "Hapa", Hawaiian slang for mixed raced. The portraits shows the range of looks, racial ambiguity, features and passing for other races. Note: Race is is a social construct, not a biological one ["Under the sky, under the heavens, there is but one family"----Bruce Lee].

Similar to what visible minorities face growing up, she talks about minority identity: "....the commonality [all mixed race face growing up] there is this question of identity, who you are, where you belong and can belong. It changes from different stages of your life, you look different and so people perceive you differently..."
