On this episode of The Best Record Shops, I will explore Criminal Records, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. This one is a big record store with thousands upon thousands of records. On this video (part 1), I will jump into their used vinyl/CD collection. They call them "Pre-loved" - which is a great way to show their love for music. This store has almost everything: Jazz, Pop, Metal, Soul, HipHop, Soundtracks, etc. Beautiful albums everywhere! Lots of audiophile vinyl, and a staff that is always ready to help you find what you are looking for. I spent a great day there and did some great shopping for my collection.

Why am I making these videos? Because I hate to see record shops die. Streaming is NOT music. Streaming is just background noise. Buy CDs. Buy vinyl. Buy whatever physical format you like. Buy music. Buy movies. Buy books. Our culture is our biggest asset. It's not free. There is no feeling like sitting down in order to enjoy a music record by your favourite Artist, holding it on your hand, appreciating its artwork, reading liner notes, putting the record on the player, and pressing the Play button.
