ISS Plays 6 Beethoven EXTRAVAGANZA (1982-2015)

From a span of 33 years (1982-2015) of her Musical Journey, Dr. Ingrid Sala Santamaria has selected a varied compendium of performances highlighting her career.

Dr. Santamaria has grouped these concerts into a BEETHOVEN EXTRAVAGANZA as follows:

1. Beethoven Appassionata Sonata, Op. 57 – May 1982, Paco Park, Manila.

2. Beethoven Emperor Concerto – August 11, 2002 at Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Main Lobby with Prof. Reynaldo Reyes as Collaborative Artist on a second piano.

3. Beethoven Emperor Concerto made into a unique and Magical COLLAGE take from performances of Tours 4 & 5 (June 2002-January 2003) of the Romantic Piano concerto Journey Tours (RPCJT) of Dr. Santamaria and Prof. Reyes.

4. Beethoven Choral Fantasy was performed by Dr. Santamaria at Philamlife Auditorium, Manila, with the Adventist University of Philippines (AUP) Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Dr. Rodney Abriol and Dr. Haide dela Serna in 2009.

5. Dr. Santamaria performed numerous times with the Manila Symphony Orchesra (MSO) conducted by Prof. Arturo Molina. One of these memorable performances was the Beethoven Emperor Concerto at the Solaire Theater in Manila on June 9, 2015.

6. Following the proliferation of ORCHESTRAS in Cebu City, Dr. Santamaria was soloist of the Visayas Symphony Orchestra (VSO) conducted by Prof. Juliet Kim at the Fabulous Temple of LEAH in Cebu on November 22, 2015. They performed the 2nd and 3rd Movements of the Beethoven Emperor Concerto there.
