Today was supposed to be a CRAZY productive day… and it still was… just not in the way I expected! 😂 What started out as a “get all the things done” day around the house quickly turned into a last-minute play date and an impromptu backyard BBQ! Even though my plans shifted, it ended up being the perfect day — full of mom life moments, productivity wins, and making memories with the kids.

Here’s what you’ll see in this video:
✨ Massive Declutter & Organize – I finally tackled the girls’ Jill and Jill bathroom (our spin on a Jack and Jill)! This space has been messy and unorganized since our house addition was finished two years ago. I used brand new Costco organizers to completely transform the drawers, cabinets, and countertop — and WOW, the before-and-after is so satisfying.
✨ Laundry Room Reset – After weeks of post-vacation chaos, back-to-school prep, and soaking up summer, our laundry room was a disaster. Today I tackled the mountain of clothes and finally got it cleared.
✨ Soup for the Soul – I made my neighbor’s favorite bacon and bean soup to help him feel better. Sharing food is one of my love languages. 💛
✨ Last-Minute BBQ – Hotdogs, hamburgers, tater tots, chips, fresh watermelon… plus all the sides I grabbed from Publix (because sometimes you just need easy!). We invited friends over last minute, and it turned into such a fun evening.
✨ Fresh Haircut – First one in seven months! A little shorter than I was expecting, but it feels so nice and fresh for the new school year.
✨ All the Mom Life Chit Chat – Real talk about life, motherhood, organization, back-to-school season, and the bittersweet end of summer.
