🔥RUN SMARTER is a NEW fitness training concept designed to support your sport whether it be running, team sports or multi-sports. It focuses on the ‘behind the scenes’ of what the body needs to sustain, improve, optimise performance.

🔥The sessions are practical based with the intention of helping individuals improve their understanding about the ‘WHAT’ & ‘HOW’ to achieve their fitness/training goals safely, significantly reducing the risk of injury whilst contributing significantly to their cardiovascular fitness training which is the main focus of most training.

RUN SMART(T)ER is the acronym for......

🏃‍♂️Self-care (injury prevention)
🏃‍♀️Mechanics (technique)
🏃‍♂️Awareness (different ways and what the focus areas are conditioning the 🏃‍♀️body before incorporating strength)
🏃‍♂️Readiness (neuromuscular activation)
🏃‍♀️Terrain (effects on running mechanics)
🏃‍♂️Training management (frequency, intensity, duration and its overall impact on the muscles and joints – accumulation )
🏃‍♀️Efficiency and economy (duration, intensity and technique and their impact on holding ‘good form’
🏃‍♂️Race preparation (taper, how to fuelling for different distances).
