Dunning Kruger-Effect

Conversely, those with high ability or expertise often underestimate their own competence, believing that tasks that are easy for them are also easy for others.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is rooted in the fact that the skills and knowledge required to recognize one's own incompetence are often the same as those needed to be competent in the first place. As a result, individuals who lack the necessary skills or knowledge to perform well in a particular area are unable to recognize their own deficiencies, leading them to believe they are more capable than they actually are.
