An Indigo Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Varanasi airport on Wednesday evening. The flight from Kolkata to Srinagar developed a technical snag on Wednesday evening. The plane, carrying over 160 passengers, sent a mayday message to ATC as it entered the Varanasi border and then asked for landing. The pilot told ATC that the plane had developed a technical snag and the engine was giving a red signal due to a fuel leak. After this, ATC quickly checked the flight number and landed the plane safely on the runway within the next four minutes.

वाराणसी एयरपोर्ट पर बुधवार की शाम इंडिगो एयरलाइंस के विमान की आपातकालीन लैंडिंग कराई गई। कोलकाता से श्रीनगर जा रही फ्लाइट में बुधवार शाम तकनीकी खराबी आ गई। 160 से अधिक यात्री लेकर जा रहे विमान ने वाराणसी सीमा में घुसते ही एटीसी को मेडे मैसेज दिया और फिर लैंडिंग की बात कही। पायलट ने एटीसी को बताया- विमान में तकनीकी खराबी आ गई और फ्यूल लीक होने के चलते इंजन रेड सिग्नल दे रहा है। इसके बाद आनन- फानन में एटीसी ने फ्लाइट नंबर की जांच की और अगले 4 मिनट में विमान को रनवे पर सुरक्षित उतार दिया।
