Bangalore Full Day Trip with KSTDC | ISKCON Temple, Bannerghatta & Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium

Friends we visited Bangalore on 8th June. This is the tour that we did with KSTDC. It is a Bus tour but it will not cover the most important places of Bangalore. So you will need another day in Bangalore. Actually this tour is important as it covers Bannerghatta National Park & Zoo. This is a must visit place. All important links are given below.
We stayed at Hotel Octave Royal Opera. It is a budget hotel in Yeshwanthpur. We stayed at Yeshwanthpur as the KSTDC bus stand is in Yeshwanthpur. If you are not opting for KSTDC tour then I would not recommend you to stay in Yeshwanthpur. It will be better to stay inside Bangalore city. ISKCON Sri Radhakrishna Temple
ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna Temple is located in North Bengaluru. It is well connected to the rest of the city through various modes of transport. Type your location in the box next to the map to get driving instructions from your location to ISKCON Bangalore.

Airport: Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru – 33 km
Railway Stations:
Bangalore City Railway Station – 6.9 km
Yeshwantpur Railway Station – 2.2 km
Metro Stations:
The temple is just 10 minutes’ walk from ‘Mahalakshmi’ and ‘Sandal Soap Factory’ metro stations.

From Shivajinagar – 79E
Alight at ‘Mahalakshmi Layout Entrance’ stop and from there it is a 10-minute walk to the temple.

Bannerghatta National Park & Zoo
Located 22 km away from Bangalore, the Bannerghatta National Park is a sanctuary for a large variety of flora and fauna. Spread over a massive area of around 104.27 sq. km, this national park was established in the year 1971. The park itself has a number of establishments within its confines, which includes the country's first butterfly park as well.

Other attractions here are ten Reserve Forests of Anekal Range of the Bangalore Forest Division, an aquarium, a zoo, Children's park, Crocodile Farm, Snake Park and Prehistoric Animals' Park. What's more, you can get up close and personal with the wondrous wildlife here by the means of a jungle safari, which is a popular activity to pursue here. The best part about Bannerghatta National Park is the small well-defined zones for animals that almost guarantees that you will spot the animals. People go in caged vehicles (buses/safari).
The Park is located 22km outside Bangalore City and can be easily reached using public transport. Take the city bus with the route numbers 365, 366 or G-4 (depending on route) which are available every 20 minutes. For reaching the park, the nearest major landmark is Jayadeva Hospital/Mico checkpoint as it is the closest stop on the Ring road. The nearest railway station to Bannerghatta biological park is Bangalore Cy Jn Train Station which is 23 km away from Bannerghatta Biological Park.
