Gagne calls the decision to make Jerry "The King" Lawler AWA Wrestling Champion was the worst decision the company ever made. Also Greg explains how Jerry Jarrett out of Memphis was originally trying to buy Verne Gagne's AWA promotion from Minneapolis.

The main event for Superclash 3 was Jerry Lawler vs Kerry Von Erich. This event was headlined by The Rock n' Roll Express vs Stud Stable and also featured the classic Indian Strap Match between Wahoo McDaniel and Manny Fernandez.
