Discover Nuwara Eliya's Best-Kept Secrets: Sri Lanka Travel Vlog

Ceylon Tea is one of the best in the world and arguably the place that produces the best of it is Nuwara Eliya. But Nuwera Eliya is much more than tea and in this episode we explore Nuwara Eliya beyond tea. We stayed at the lovely Blackpool Resort just outside the city and I witnessed my best sunrise in Sri Lanka from there.

Once we finished our breakfast, we visited Sitha Eliya. It is believed that Sita was held captive here by Ravana and this is also where Hanuman met Sita and gave her Ram's ring. We also visited Lake Gregory - a lake built by British when this area was being developed for tea plantations.

Finally our day ended at Negambo at the Heritance Hotel and I called it a night at 11.30pm - something rather rare on this trip.
