على الرغم من عدم تشكيل القبائل العربية اي تهديدات جدية ضد الامبراطورية الاشورية على غرار القبائل الارامية. لاكن كانت في بعض الاحيان تدخل في تحالفات معادية للامبراطورية الاشورية مثل التحالف الذي شكله الملك الارامي حدادزير ضد الملك الاشوري شملنصر الثالث والذي تكون من اثني عشر مملكة احداها مملكة الملك العربي جنديبو, الذين حاربوا قوات الملك الاشوري في معركة قرقر الشهيرة.

Although the Arab tribes did not pose any serious threats against the Assyrian Empire, similar to the Aramaic tribes.
But it was sometimes entered into alliances hostile to the Assyrian Empire, such as the alliance formed by the Aramaic King Hadadezer against the Assyrian King Shamnasir III Which consisted of twelve kingdoms, one of which was the kingdom of the Arab king, Gendibo, who fought the forces of the Assyrian king in the famous battle of Qarqar.
