for memories of spring

too many springs that I forgot — I'm trying to remember this one

believe it or not, it's been raining this spring (at least for us temperate zone residents). I've been experimenting with incorporating "natural reverb" with synths – recording a channel of a mic in the room with the speaker playing & the window open letting the weather or anything else leak in. so it's all rooted in a certain kind of here & nowness.

& yes we got a piano (just for this year). still haven't named her yet (suggestions?). I've been focusing in on these two instruments, they both feel like they fit my mind really well but in opposite capacities.

patch-wise, similar setup here as the last video (norns eggs + rpls, radio music, & warps delay on a send). instead of sequencing mangrove, I'm letting them drone & pitch divide, then I have piston honda hooked up controlled by two independent sequences + manual CV getting summed & quantized using some new features of eggs (norns) that I'm wrapping up.
