NOVEMBER 28, 2022: Hyacinth Brown, mother of Clayton 'Chiney' Pink, Marilyn Graham, his sister and Hyacinth Pink aunt of Jerome Smith are united in their cries of justice for their loved ones who died from the bullets of a policeman who is said to be their in-law.
Saturday morning (November 26), according to police report about 12:49 an altercation developed between the police in question Constable Damion Williams, who is stationed at the Spaldings Police Station, at a party being held in a car park in Frankfield, Clarendon. It is alleged Pink flung a bottle that caught Williams in the face injuring him.
Williams fired two shots at Pink hitting him and Smith, his cousin, who was in close proximity was also hit. Smith succumbed to his injuries at the Percy Junor Hospital in Manchester while Pink was pronounced dead on arrival.
