On May 26, 2024 a tornado outbreak occurred across the central and East central United States. On this day, I chased in southern Missouri and saw two different tornadoes.

Tornado 1 occurred just east of Mountain View, Missouri and was rated and EF3 with estimated peak windspeeds of 138 miles per hour.

Tornado 2 would drop from the same storm that produced tornado 1. Tornado 2 occurred near Birch Tree, Missouri and was rated an EF-2 with peak windspeeds of 125 miles per hour.
