What's up filmmakers! Producing is not an easy job. In this video, I'll explain step by step process of producing a movie and share some helpful knowledge on producing films.

Here is a simple summary of the film producing process:

Step 1 - Develop an idea.💡
• Get yourself a journal to write down your ideas.
• Let your movie ideas sit in your head.
• Choose only ideas that keep coming back to you and give you inspiration.
• Keep your eye and ears open, you never know from where a good movie idea will come.

Step 2 - Writing. 📝
• Study storytelling and how to write a script! This is super crucial.
• Commit and focus.
• Find a writer and collaborate.
• Option a finished script.

Step 3 - Pitching & Financing. 🗣
• Prepare pitch deck.
• Develop social and communication skills.
• Go out and meet people to collaborate.
• Pitch your project as much as you can.
• Study sales in order to become good at pitching.
• Have multiple pitches.

Step 4 - Pre-production. 🗃
• Hire a team and delegate.
• Bring people on board that are more knowledgeable than you.

Step 5 - Production / Filming. 🎥
• Become good at problem-solving.
• Learn how to control your emotion and keep it cool at all times.
• Be a great leader. Study leadership.

Step 6 - Post-production. 🎞
• Hire an editing team if you don't know how to edit.
• Don't let your negative wishful thinking bring you down.

Extra Step - Distribution. 📀
• Research your distributor before you sign any contracts!!! Very important.

Step 7 - Release. 📽
• Use constructive criticism for your growth as a producer and filmmaker.
• Ignore the haters and don't let them get under your skin.
