Worship Him for Identity: Goodness (Day 3)

We were made to encounter the goodness of God and then carry His Goodness to the World.

2 Peter 1:5
In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

Philippians 4:8
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

1 Peter 2:9
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

2 Peter 1:3
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.

Habakkuk 3:3
I see God moving across the deserts from Edom, the Holy One coming from Mount Paran.
His brilliant splendor fills the heavens, and the earth is filled with his praise.

Zechariah 6:13
Yes, he will build the Temple of the Lord. Then he will receive royal honor and will rule as king from his throne. He will also serve as priest from his throne,[e] and there will be perfect harmony between his two roles.’

Isaiah 63:7
I will tell of the Lord’s unfailing love. I will praise the Lord for all he has done.
I will rejoice in his great goodness to Israel, which he has granted according to his mercy and love.
