Today we're going to be taking a look at the CargoSmart Arched Loading Ramp set. These ramps are 90 inches long and 12 inches wide. They offer a 750 pound capacity per ramp and are available either as a single or as a kit. These CargoSmart ramps are gonna be an excellent alternative to steel and solid aluminum ramps that we're used to using in the past. The polymer design that we have on the tread plates gives excellent grip and traction. So, even wet muddy weather is not gonna be a issue getting our rig on and off. These have a 750 pound weight capacity each.

We sell them as a two pack or as a single. So, if you've got just a bike you need to get loaded that'll work for you there. Or, if you're using four-wheeled or three-wheeled equipment we'll have an application to fit what you're looking for. Now, with that kind of capacity ATVs, UTVs, little tractors, things like that you really shouldn't have any issues getting these loaded and unloaded. The ramps themselves are gonna be 12 inches wide, so that's gonna take care of most size tires that we're gonna be running up and off of these ramps. And, they're 90 inches in length.

While that's not such an important thing on a low trailer like this, you'll really appreciate that once you start loading into trucks or trailers that are higher. By having those be a little longer our angle's not gonna be so steep, it'll be a little less dramatic, should be a little bit easier to get in and out.The S-curve design allows for different types of vehicles, even real low clearance type vehicles to come up and on. You can see it's low, it's not at such a straight angle. And then as we get closer to our trailer it also kind of evens out a little bit. It reduces that angle and it's gonna make it much easier to use. This hybrid design of ramp is becoming very very popular.

We have full aluminum construction on all of our runners on the plates that meet our truck and the plates that meet the ground. The hinge itself is gonna be steel but the actual runners here are a polymer material. This allows for them to design in excellent traction patterns. And these also don't tend to dent or deform like what we see with some of the other aluminum ramps. After use they start to get some sag in them.

And, with this we're just not gonna have that issue at all. Now, here on the backside of the ramp you can see we've got an angled piece of aluminum that comes down, makes contact with the ground, really helps to smooth this transition out so we don't have to worry about getting to the ramp and then trying to get up and on it.Now, when getting our ramp set up for use, whether we're gonna be on a trailer or on a truck, we want to take our contoured section, and this lip we're gonna place right up on the edge of either the tailgate, the bed, or the trailer. Once that's on that lip we want to slide that all the way forward, ensure that we've got good contact with that down section. And then we're gonna use the provided strap. This is gonna help to ensure that our ramps don't slide rearward on us, especially as we're driving on and off. And, I really think it's important with trucks. We'll get that nice and snug. As we're going on we won't have to worry about these moving at all. When it's time to put up our ramps, instead of having to store the full length, these do fold in half just as you see the one sitting there. Just gonna lift up on that middle section and allow it to collapse. These are stackable, fairly easy just to stack one right on top of the other. And then something I like to do is just take my strap, go around one to the other, it's gonna hold everything nice and tightly together. At that point you almost pack them together, although I think two of them together you'll need two hands to carry them. And that's gonna complete our look at the CargoSmart Arched Center-Fold Loading Ramp.
