Gerina Michelle Mendoza Piller (née Mendoza; born March 29, 1985, in Roswell, New Mexico) is an American professional golfer on the LPGA Tour. A latecomer to the game—she didn’t start playing until age 15—Piller dominated at Goddard High School, winning the New Mexico state championship in 2003; at the University of Texas–El Paso she claimed four tournament victories as a senior and was named Conference USA Player of the Year in 2007 After turning professional in September 2007 and earning her LPGA Tour card for 2010 via the Duramed Futures Tour, she has since recorded two LPGA titles—the 2017 ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open and the 2018 ISPS Handa Vic Open—alongside over 40 top‑10 finishes ([Wikipedia][2], [Sterling Sports Management][3]). Piller has represented the United States in three Solheim Cups (2013, 2015, 2017), was part of the gold‑medal winning International Crown team in 2016, and played in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
