This is the overly long story of how I finally bit the bullet and modified the exhaust system on my 2019 Triumph Speed Twin. A Motone X-pipe was always the plan, but a pair of Akrapovic slip-ons swooped in first. After those two came a K&N air filter and a DNK TuneWorks tune. I absolutely love the result. This bike now oozes character every second that it's running. Never before have I felt so much like I was one with this machine. I am not into bone-rattlingly loud exhausts, and fortunately this one is quite reasonable when you're not flogging it.
