How Pros Fix Broken Plastic Fittings I Best Fix on YouTube I Stronger Than Factory

Описание к видео How Pros Fix Broken Plastic Fittings I Best Fix on YouTube I Stronger Than Factory

Fixing a broken fitting or line connection on a fuel pump, evap canister, DEF pump, coolant reservoir, etc.... is often a hit or miss process. Many people will slab as much epoxy on as possible, cross the old fingers and hope it holds. But more times than none that never works! Especially if that fitting has a pressure within it. Such as in a fuel pump application.

You need to add reinforcement to the fitting then seal it up so it's airtight and doesn't leak.

In this video, I show you how to add rigid strength to the fitting that epoxy alone cant provide. I then show you 2 different ways of sealing it up so it holds for a lifetime!

First, we add rigid strength via a metal splice. Then we add an airtight seal using either epoxy or PLASTIC WELDING. Both have their place and I explain exactly what those situations are.

I provide epoxy recommendations along with plastic welding equipment recommendations and the best places to hone your techniques for both.
