"When You're Dancing the Waltz", a rare Rodgers and Hart number from the obscure Technicolor film "Dancing Pirate". As usual, the waltz is Rodgers metier, and in this case it's the fulcrum of the entire plot of the film (not unlike the similarly silly "Can Can"). Dubbed and remastered from the soundtrack. Seems to have been created for the Latin American market, though it did get an Oscar nomination at the time it was released (not one of the major categories). There is another R/H number in the film as well. It sounds better here than it looks in the film; though talented the leads are not Hollywood standard level then or now. Sung by Charles Collins.
