VLOG 169: Bodie Ghost Town & State Historic Park (California)

Join me on this virtual visit to the California ghost town of Bodie State Historic Park along Highway 395.

Located a half hour north of Lee Vining, Mono Lake, and the Tioga Pass entrance to Yosemite National Park, this Gold Rush boomtown has been preserved in a state of arrested decay by the CA State Park Service. The grounds here showcase 200 old structures, including the Bodie Jail, a schoolhouse, the Methodist church, the Bodie Bank, and the Standard Consolidated Mining Company with its Stamp Mill.
