In this case study, we have discussed the ACIN problem of the motherboard Vegas Turis SKL/KBL 15341-1 91B85 model or part number.

This Vegas SKL/KBL motherboard was in dead condition and charging IC was in burnt condition. So, after changing charging IC still motherboard was in dead condition.

After proper tracing, it was found that the ACIN signal was missing in the Charging section which was going to SIO. So, SIO or controller Io was not able to properly communicate with the Charging IC.

Due to the above problem, the 19V or Voltin or DCIN section MOSFET was not switching properly and the current was not proper which was causing the vegas board to be in the dead condition.

After removed the SIO pin concerned with the ACIN signal. Board was working and 19V was switching properly.

Now, replaced SIO after that charging and motherboard working became normal.
