The Resurrection from Hell!

In this story Merlin was approached by a man named Cain Saint, who lost his wife a very long time ago due to people not understanding magic, burning her to a stake making him watch, as he was a catholic man, in love with a scientist. He came to Merlin, a power Wizard and asking him to retrieve her soul for him, and to resurrect her. Merlin took into search for weeks into how he could bring her back after so long, and to do it right. He eventually found a scroll leading him to the answers.

He struck a meeting with Cain, telling him that he accepts doing this as long as a deal was made, that if any harm comes to him because of this, then he will make sure she is returned to Hell. The agreement was made, and Cain handed over the bones of his wife Lilith and Merlin sent out his Raven to fetch the soul. As his Raven had been possessed by a demon named Somniator, a dream walking demon who was summoned by Merlin and bounded him to the body to serve him.

As a few days passed, preparing for the ritual, Somniator returned to Merlin with the soul surprisingly in better condition then expected. As the soul never made it past the gates of Hell, as she was in the waiting line for 10,000 years in Hell time, and 900 years in the mortal world. As it not being that damaged, Merlin was able to safely return the soul back and resurrect her successfully, but also put up a wall in her mind, to block out the memories of Hell.
