In a shocking incident, a student of Pala St. Thomas College, Nithina Mol, was murdered on Friday by her classmate Abhishek Baiju. He killed Nithina by slitting her throat using a pen knife. Some construction workers rushed to the spot after hearing the loud scream of a woman. The construction works of a new civil service academy was under progress inside the campus. When the workers reached the spot, Nithina was found lying on the ground. She was covered with blood. The throat was deeply cut. They also found Abhishek sitting on a bench nearby. There were injuries in his hands. According to the college principal and other eye witnesses, Abhishek sat near Nithina without any emotions.
“He never showed any emotions. He sat near Nithina emotionless until police arrived the scene. He was then arrested by police. He was cool even after the police took him into custody,” said witnesses.
“Nithina was rushed to hospital soon after the incident but couldn’t save her life” another witness said.
