In this video, I take a tour of Wadi Rum, Jordan. I booked a 1 day tour of Wadi Rum from my hotel in Aqaba. I think I paid around 85 JOD or around 120 dollars. This included one night camping in Wadi Rum and meals. It did not include transportation to and from Wadi Rum. I shared a taxi from my hotel with a couple of other guys. I went on a shared tour. There were four of us and a driver/guide.

The tour was great. After I arrived, I stored my stuff in my tent and had a quick breakfast. We set out into the desert at around 7am. First, we traveled to the south of the park and took a short hike up to a viewpoint. After the hike, we checked out some sand dunes.

Around midday, we stopped in the shade for lunch. Our guide cooked us a simple meal over an open fire. He was a quiet guy but very chill.

After lunch, we took another short hike up a rocky hill. After that, we drove around and checked out some unique rock formations. In the late afternoon, we headed back to camp.

When we arrived, we enjoyed some tea around the campfire and rested a bit. Camel rides were offered. After that, we went out to watch the sunset over the desert.

After sunset, we returned to camp and ate dinner. Then we sat around the campfire and chatted a bit before going to bed. In the morning, I caught a taxi back to Aqaba.

I highly recommend taking a Wadi Rum tour if you're traveling in Southern Jordan. The tours are affordable and the scenery is incredible. The tours are also really well organized. They leave every day.

Multi-day tours are available if you want to spend more time exploring the desert. If you prefer more comfort, there are more luxurious glamping-style camps. I stayed in a basic camp and it was fine for the night. I would definitely visit Wadi Rum again. It was one of my favorite spots in Jordan.
