With the Divine Blessings of Acharya, we will recite the glories of the Divine Mother , Goddess Lalitambika in Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam with salutations to Guru and Guru Parampara.

We will begin this recitation with ‘Siva’ Nama and understand the significance of worshipping Siva in order to get the immediate Grace of Lalitambika.

Our approach is to have several introductory sessions , followed by dedicated sessions to review each Nama and its significance.

This introductory session will focus on Salutations to our Gurus and overview of some of the scriptures that they have bestowed to understand Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam.

Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam is a very special “Treasure”. Guru is the only one that has the “Key” to open that Treasure!

The key to knowing the Goddess is the different scriptures that they have bestowed to know the glories of Goddess Lalitambika! We will offer our Salutations to the Guru and get to know about some of their Divine Scriptures that why have bestowed upon us.

1. Adi Shankaracharya’s Soundarya Lahari. The 100 Slokas bestowed by Acharya will be the Mukhya Pramanam for us to understanding Sri Lalitha Saharanamam.

2. The JagadGuru of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Sri ChandraSekharendra Saraswathi Maha Swami, the Great Sage of Kanchi ‘s Deivathin Kural (The Voice of God).

3. Sri Bhaskararayar’s Soubhagya Bhaskara is the Bhashyam that Goddess Herself instructed Acharya to compose. Where possible, we will reference from this Bhashyam.

4. Sage Durvasa’s Arya Dwishati , a masterpiece of 200 Slokas where Acharya gives an Arial View of the entire Sri Nagaram, where Goddess Resides!

5. Sri Muka Saraswati Acharya of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam has bestowed 500 Slokas as Sri Mooka Panchasati.

6. Sri Muthuswamy Deekshitar’s Kamalamba Navavarna Krithis, where the Goddess Herself sits and listens to the rendition. We will bow down to all the Sangeeta Gurus. Their Grace is so Divine such that, for new aspirants, just reciting their Keertanas itself bestows the Punyam of doing Sri Chakra Puja.

7. Sri Valmiki’s Srimad Ramayanam. As we know, there are different versions of Ramayana. This version offers unique perspective in understanding the Divine Mother as Sri Vidya Ramayanam.

We are just starting with a few scriptures in this session. There are several more.

As and when we recite the glories of Goddess Lalitambika, we will take Blessing from each of these scriptures to recite the Namas in Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam!
