Old Mates Plod - [ Kentmere Horseshoe & The Green Quarter Loop | Lake District MTB ]

An Old Mate leading the way and supporting my journey to get fit again.

He maybe older than me but he is no slouch that’s for sure! A quiet marathon runner as well as a regular triathlon competitor! Don’t be fooled!

A 21km loop from Staveley Wheelbase Car park, Cumbria. Starting with tarmac then A cross country plod on the Kentmere Horseshoe integrating a long and fast descent to St Cuthberts Church! From here we jumped across to the Green Quarter for another uphill plod! This then encounters some fantastic undulating paths and single track descents. The last section we call ‘the alpine descent’ through the small forest is not for the faint hearted let me tell you but sadly the go pro never captured it so we will be back to do it again soon!
