BLOODRED - The Lost Ones (EP 2014)

Fast, heavy and brutal yet a bit melodic. Hah, that was what I can conclude for this EP. Brutally fast attacking riffs, fast speed drumworks and furiously harsh growling. Very well Bloodred is actual a one-man band and I'm a bit curious whether it can last longer hahaa.. So many one-man bands just vanished into the air after one or two stuffs. Hopefully Bloodred will remain stronger another 10 years from now. I dont deny that Bloodred is very talented band especially the man behind it none other Ron Merz. However let us wait and see whether we still can see this man running this band another few more years to come. Ok, Bloodred actually not really new as it was born in 2009 somewhere in Germany. Well since it was a one-man band so not much activities happened apart from any gigs or live shows. As for materials also Bloodred have only unleashed this very own EP The Lost Ones. So we have a totally new and fresh stuffs from this new blood. The music is still the typical Black Death Metal style yet it was flourish by the melodic riffs which I dont think you will never get this shit melo in Behemoth or Belphegor stuffs hahaa.. Anyway credit should be given to Ron for his effort to incorporated melodic into this brutal and heavy music. So becoz of that we still have that catchy banging parts instead of fast and brutal riffs all the way. Well its still earlier to talk about Bloodred direction and style. Lets wait their next stuffs and then we will have more things to write hehee.. As for this EP it just only average but still a good stuffs for you to enjoy.
