Uncultured Chinese Flutist

So...I am Chinese and I play the Chinese flute, but I speak Chinese horribly. And I don't really know squat about Chinese New Year traditions. I know, be amazed.

Hope you guys enjoyed this little excerpt from a tune we're playing in the UBC Chinese Ensemble. It's called "Xi Yang Yang", and it's played a lot for Chinese New Years. I played it for my church's Chinese New Year's potluck celebration yesterday!
